Lighthouse Shell Island Tour

Our most popular tour with up to one and a half hours on an unspoiled barrier island. Search for shells, beach comb or just relax in the beauty of Mother Nature.

You’ll see the oldest South Carolina lighthouse in continuous operation while hearing the legend about Lighthouse Annie. Narrations on local history, ecology wildlife and marine life accompany this tour with the possibility of seeing Bottlenose Dolphins, Alligators, Bald Eagles, Ospreys, Brown Pelicans, and a variety of shore birds and maybe a sea turtle. Four Hour Tour Monday thru Saturday with departure times based on tide schedule. Gratuity appreciated.

Plantation River Tour

See history come alive as you view former rice fields that at one time supplied 50% of all rice consumed in America. View several former plantation homes while learning the history of the wealthy rice planters and their families.

Around each bend of the river, you’ll see where local Indians once lived and traded with early settlers. It was in the Black River where the oldest known colonial era vessel ever found on the continent of North America was brought up in 1976 and is presently on display on the third floor of the Rice Museum. Bring your camera as we usually see Bald Eagles, Ospreys and other birds on this tour. Three hour tour with departure times based on tide schedule. Gratuity appreciated.

Sunset Eco Cruise

There is no better place to see a South Carolina sunset than on the waters of Winyah Bay. Watch the sun turn to gold as it paints the sky with spectacular colors while Dolphins feed and Bald Eagles fly.

While the winds calm down, the fresh ocean air will overtake you as you relax with complimentary wine, soft drinks, fruit and cheese. One and a half hour tour based on the time of sunset. Gratuity appreciated.

What to Expect:

This slow paced cruise will have a few stories about Georgetown as we exit the Sampit River to the Winyah Bay. We will be on the look out for Alligators, Dolphins, Eagles, Osprey, Cormorant's & Turtles.
We will offer a complimentary Fruit and Cheese platter, accompanied by a glass or two of champagne & soft drinks and water for our under age boaters. There is a bathroom on the boat just in case you wondering.
